Already another Christmas here in the kingdom! Crazy how fast time flies It's already been a year! This is my last christmas on the mission. Blows my mind!
But a lil' update on the life. Our investigator is finally back from Tonga! She went to Tonga to give birth to her baby! And man! Half Japanese-half Tongan babies are adorable, lol! But she got really sic during labor and almost died! But she had one of the coolest experiences! The doctors told her and her family that the chance of her living through the labor is slim. So after the baby was born and before she could even hold him, because of the toll the labor, she fell unconscious. Her husband said he thought she died. Luckily, the elders that work in the area were visiting a member that is sick in the hospital. Her husband asked the elders to bless her and so they did. She said during the blessing she saw a bright ball of light circling her head and it spoke to her telling her it'ss time for her to meet her new son. At that moment the Elders finished the blessing and she woke up! Her health began to progress and she was able to hold her baby! We are working with her again and preparing her for baptism.
Also, during my mission, I got a nasty big wart. I got it removed. But the doctor cut a fat hole in my hand and I needed 4 stitches. I think it's healing nicely, so that is good.
There is also a family here from America. They are visiting family here in Koloa. REally nice and its nice talking to people in English. They came with their son's Eagle Project. Just a bunch of sporting goods for the kids here. Its really nice! Spreading the Christmas Spirit!
I want to invite you all to always remember the true meaning of Christmas.
Ofa lahi atu!
Merry Christmas!
Love,
Elder Nomani
