Half way there...

Elder Nomani was able to call and talk for a little bit. He learned to climb a coconut tree this past Tuesday. He and Elder Mahe were able to burn a shirt to commemorate their one year mark. With his year mark on the 19th of September, he has done a lot of reflecting. He was a little down on himself and wondering if he is doing enough. Being homesick wasn't helping. After talking him through it and giving  him all the encouragement we could, he hung up feeling a little more positive. It is a hard mission, not the normal mission you read and hear about. Very small areas, with very religious, God fearing people. Less than a year to go....you got this, son!

ONE YEAR!!!

Communication with Elder Nomani is not what we expected. He is able to chat or video call almost every week. But uploading pics and a blog post, just isn't happening quite as often! Here are the latest pics from him...
